Hunt Heroes Foundation (HHF), the non-profit organization founded by Hunt Military Communities (HMC), is excited to announce it raised more than $162,500 at its second annual Hunt Heroes Foundation Gala. The event, recently held in Nashville, TN, featured a dinner, a silent auction and an awards ceremony for HMC employees, sponsors and partners.
This year’s gala recognized the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation for its work in providing support to the nation’s military heroes and first responders. John V. LaBarbera, Tunnels to Towers Executive Board Member and retired Battalion Commander, FDNY, attended the event and spoke on behalf of the organization. As a commitment to the HHF mission, a portion of the money raised will be donated to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The remainder of the money raised will help fund the annual Hunt Heroes Foundation Scholarship program, offered to active duty service members and their dependents, as well as other partnerships, such as Stop Soldier Suicide and wear blue: run to remember.
“The generosity of our sponsors has been truly amazing,” said John Ehle, President of Hunt Military Communities. “With the support of donations like these, Hunt Heroes Foundation is able to continue to provide resources to the military community and other organizations with similar missions.”
